Pre-Kindergarten

To improve student achievement, reduce the dropout rate and its associated costs to society and the state, and to enhance parental workforce participation, Texas must maintain funding for full-day high-quality pre-kindergarten programs throughout the state. expand its current half-day pre-kindergarten program to full-day and improve its overall quality.
