Serving more than 300 practitioners in the North Texas region to date, the Teaching Trust achieves its objectives through three aligned programs:
- Aspiring Ed Leaders, in partnership with Southern Methodist University’s Annette Caldwell Simmons School of Education & Human Development, prepares future school leaders for the challenging work of leading effective teams to drive improvement in complex, urban schools.
- Executive Ed for Teams prepares school leadership teams for building capacity in order to drive and sustain significant improvement in culture, instruction, and academic performance in their schools.
- Ed Fellows develops teacher-leaders who are committed to improving instructional skills and influencing the implementation of practices that will improve student outcomes.
All three programs are designed to help principal- and teacher-leaders transform schools in order to eliminate the achievement gap and ensure that all children are given an extraordinary education.
