Texas is recognized nationally as a pioneer in public school reform. While we have made significant progress, there is still work to be done. We should not stop now. We need to continue to invest and, at the same time, expect more from our investment. We must work together to continue to celebrate, defend and strengthen our public schools. We must raise our hands, lend our voices and show our support.

The Raise Your Hand Texas Leadership Program will send 100 of our top campus leaders to The Principals' Center at Harvard to participate in one of four Summer Institutes. The Summer Institutes will expose our top leaders to leading national and international experts in the fields of education and leadership. In addition, our school leaders will work along side renowned educators from across the country.
We received over 400 applications for the Leadership Program by the April 18th deadline. We would like to thank everyone who took the time to submit an application for this unique opportunity. Applicants accepted into the Leadership Program will be announced in mid-May.
We will contact all applicants via email at that time. If we have an issue contacting an applicant via email, we will follow up with a call to the work or personal phone numbers provided on the application.
