Vice President of Strategy and Evaluation
Jennifer joined the Raise Your Hand Texas team in 2015 to launch and lead the Raising Blended Learners initiative. Now entering its fourth year, the Raising Blended Learners initiative includes 14 districts implementing student-centered blended learning for approximately 35,000 students across the state of Texas. In her role as director of strategic learning and evaluation, Jennifer manages strategy for continuous improvement and data-driven decisions to maintain alignment and progress across departments in pursuit of organizational goals. She continues to lead the Raising Blended Learners initiative.
Before joining Raise Your Hand, Jennifer worked at the Texas Education Agency supporting the Communities In Schools of Texas program. Jennifer has experience in non-profit program management and spent time working in the education sector in New Orleans and San Antonio.
Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Bachelor of Journalism degree from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Master of Public Affairs degree from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin.
