Dr. Johnny Briseño

Dr. Johnny Briseño is currently serving his fifth year as principal of Alvin High School in Alvin ISD. Dr. Briseño began his education career in Pasadena ISD. After having taught for three years, he served as assistant principal at South Houston High School for four years. Briseño has principal experience in all grade levels having served two years as principal of Rancho Isabella Elementary in Angleton ISD and two years as principal of Harby Junior High in Alvin ISD. Dr. Briseño attended the Harvard Summer Institute’s the Art of Leadership in 2010 and the Rice Education Entrepreneurship Program (REEP) Business Fellowship for School Leaders in 2013.
Dr. Briseño received his BA in Kinesiology from Texas Lutheran University, MS in Educational Mid-Management from the University of Houston at Clear Lake, and Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Lamar University.
