Regional Advocacy Director – East Texas
Todd Schneider retired from Texas public education after serving as a teacher and superintendent for 31 years. He started his career as a math teacher/coach in Spring Branch ISD before moving to East Texas. Todd served as superintendent of Martin’s Mill ISD, a small school district in Van Zandt county in East Texas. In 2013, he moved to Katy ISD to serve as the assistant superintendent of human resources, a fast-growth suburban school district west of Houston. Most recently, he served as superintendent of Bullard ISD outside of Tyler in East Texas.
Todd’s wife, Jan, is a junior high school technology teacher in Bullard and they have three boys. Their son Will teaches in Lindale ISD, while Kaiden and Kyle attend Bullard schools.
