It began with 65 blended learning concepts from public and charter schools and districts across Texas.
Of those 65, judges selected 10 to continue on and compete for one of five $500,000 grants in the Raising Blended Learners initiative. The grants will enable the winners to implement their concepts in their districts or on their campuses.
Those 10 teams gathered in Austin last week for a spirited two-day workshop led by some of the country’s leading blended learning experts. Right now, using the advice and insight they received, those teams are perfecting their plans and polishing their final pitches.
