Voices From the Field: Empowering Young Women to Lead

August 22, 2018

Our Voices from the Field series features students, teachers, and school leaders who make an impact in Texas public schools.

For Malinda Villalobos, the Ysleta ISD principal of Ysleta Young Women’s Leadership Academy, the first all-girls public school in El Paso, giving girls the option of attending a school designed for them opens so many doors.

Her motto? “Equity for all, availability for all — as big as you want to become and as much as you want to learn. There are no boundaries for you.”

Welcome to the first installment in our new video series: Voices from the Field.
