Five Winners Selected
$5 MILLION RAISE YOUR HAND TEXAS BLENDED LEARNING GRANT INITIATIVE
75 teams were selected to attend the fall workshops. After the workshops, 67 teams submitted blended learning business plans and ten were selected as finalists. Now, Raise Your Hand Texas is excited to announce the five winners of the Raising Blended LearnersSM initiative. Each of the five demonstration sites will receive up to $500,000 in grant funding and comprehensive support over three years to serve as proof points for the effective implementation of blended learning.
The winning demonstration sites are:
- Birdville ISD
- Cisco ISD
- KIPP Texas-Houston
- Pasadena ISD
- Point Isabel ISD
The Pilot Network consists of 15 sites implementing smaller scale, non-grant-funded pilots and will help catalyze statewide expansion of blended learning.
