By uniting communities to advocate for thriving public schools, we aim to build a stronger future for every Texas student.

Raise Your Hand Texas is dedicated to building a strong, pro-public education constituency across the state. We provide pathways for educators, families, students, and businesses to become Education Advocates, using their voices to support the future of Texas schools.

Raise Your Hand Texas’ Community Leaders Fellowship is the premier program within the organization’s Education Advocacy Academy. The fellowship is designed to equip teams aligned with local independent school districts with the skills to effectively advocate for public education in their own communities.

The annual Advocacy Summit is a deep-dive event that provides school leaders, board members, parents, and other community leaders with a roadmap, tools, and strategies that will help them amplify their voices and the voices of their communities to influence state education policy.
Texas’ future—our communities, citizenry, and economy—depends on how well we prepare the students in our more than 1,200 public school districts around the state.
Raise Your Hand Texas works in local communities and at the Texas Legislature to broaden and strengthen support for public schools.
We are focused on two core issues that impact every student, educator, and campus in Texas: school funding and the A-F accountability system.
