Raise Your Hand Texas hosts events across the state to educate communities about the issues facing public education. We hold candidate forums and town hall meetings, design and produce interactive events for community members, engage with school districts and encourage Texans to become advocates for public education. Our Candidate Forums are recorded and posted after each event. To find an event, filter and browse events below.

Raise Your Hand Texas welcomes different viewpoints and experiences from every corner of Texas. We ask all attendees to honor a shared commitment to decorum: listen with curiosity, value your peers’ perspectives, and keep discussions respectful, positive, and focused on our common goal of supporting Texas public school students. We reserve the right to ask people to leave an event if their behavior is not respectful. If it is a ticketed event, we will issue refunds. Thank you for helping us maintain a welcoming environment rooted in civility and constructive dialogue.
