2024 Trustee Advocacy Summit – Raise Your Hand Texas Invitation Only Opportunity What it is: Each consulting opportunity will take place during an upcoming Trustee Advocates Program session and will include the following elements: One individualized consultation session (90 minutes) with relevant Raise Your Hand Texas senior director(s). The topics offered are those that make up the Trustee Advocates competency continuum: community engagement and mobilization, legislator relationships, electoral engagement, issue development and campaigns, and effective communications. One Trustee Advocates Program learning session (90 minutes). The meeting agenda will be provided ahead of time, and your district will be assigned a session to shadow. Lunch with current Trustee Advocates Program participants. Who should come: Two members of an invited district’s Team of 8. Dates: Thursday, April 18 Cost: $750 per school district. Participants will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements and covering associated costs.
