2024 Trustee Advocacy Summit – Raise Your Hand Texas

Invitation Only Opportunity

What it is: Each consulting opportunity will take place during an upcoming Trustee Advocates Program session and will include the following elements: 

• One individualized consultation session (90 minutes) with relevant Raise Your Hand Texas senior director(s).  The topics offered are those that make up the Trustee Advocates competency continuum: community engagement and mobilization, legislator relationships, electoral engagement, issue development and campaigns, and effective communications. 
• One Trustee Advocates Program learning session (90 minutes). The meeting agenda will be provided ahead of time, and your district will be assigned a session to shadow. 
• Lunch with current Trustee Advocates Program participants.

Who should come: Two members of an invited district’s Team of 8.

Dates: Thursday, April 18

Cost: $750 per school district. Participants will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements and covering associated costs.
