Bailey Armosky

Bailey Armosky joined Raise Your Hand Texas as a digital communications intern in August 2023 with nearly eight years of experience studying and exploring digital media. As an intern for the communications team, she works on projects for Raise Your Hand Texas’ social media pages and aids in the organization’s strategic priorities.

Before joining Raise Your Hand Texas, she worked as an editorial intern for the blog Texas Tasty creating social media and website content about the Austin food and culture scene. She is currently in her senior year at St. Edward’s University where she is majoring in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations & Advertising and minoring in Digital Marketing. In her university experience she has had opportunities to work with local non-profit organizations pitching and working on social media marketing campaigns, event planning, social media writing and content design, and advertising campaign design and strategy.

This semester she is excited to use her skills in the communication field towards efforts to better the Texas public school system and learn more about policy, advocacy, and legislative engagement. Outside of work and school she enjoys exploring local restaurants and food trucks and, after working as a barista for two years, loves trying new coffee spots.
