89th Legislative Session: 2025 Legislative Recap Report

On Wednesday, June 4, Raise Your Hand Texas held a virtual media briefing to release its end-of-session report on the 89th Texas Legislative Session. The discussion included an overview of key legislation (SB 2, HB 2, and HB 4) and its impact on public schools, students, teachers, and taxpayers. This media briefing featured remarks from Raise Your Hand Texas staff including: Dr. Libby Cohen, Executive Director; Bob Popinski, Senior Director of Policy; and, Max Rombado, Legislative Director.
