Alison Sanchez

Hometown: Garland, Texas
University: University of North Texas at Dallas
Teaching Interest: Elementary Education

Growing up in a family with seven siblings (and now 17 nieces and nephews), Alison adores having lots of energetic children around her with a range of personalities and interests. Her love of teaching is influenced by her mother, who worked with special education students in Garland ISD for over 20 years.

Alison worked in retail management for 17 years prior to discovering she wanted to return to school to become a teacher. With her life experience and drive to succeed as the wind at her back, Alison’s goals include inspiring students to achieve their dreams, helping them recognize how important they are, and showcasing the impact that they can have on others and the world.

"A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning." - Brad Henry
