Student voice is what motivates Jacqueline to be a high school English teacher. She believes her purpose in life is to provide students opportunities to find their voice and express themselves. To Jaqueline, writing is a vehicle that empowers students to take ownership of their perspectives and experiences. In her classroom, her students’ stories will matter.
