VIDEO: This is Where the Future Begins

Anyone who recently has set foot in a public school knows incredible and important work is unfolding under increasingly challenging circumstances. And inside the school walls, teachers and school leaders know that this is where the future begins.

We released this video at the Friends of Texas Public Schools gala, honoring Michelle Smith, government relations director for Raise Your Hand Texas, as their 2018 Texas Public Schools Friend of the Year. But we created the video as a tribute to every teacher, principal, and other educator working to meet the needs of all students in our public schools. Please watch and share for all the educators out there, preparing the future. #TxEd
