Skylar Gallop is the senior regional advocacy director for Raise Your Hand Texas in the Panhandle region of Texas. She joined the organization in 2019. Gallop works to inform voters in the Texas Panhandle of critical issues facing the more than five million students in our state’s public schools. She also helps inspire and motivate Panhandle voters to become more involved in legislative matters at both the state and local levels.
Gallop is a former television news reporter and anchor, and her steadfast commitment to ethics, truth, and communication aids in the advancement of public education for all Texas students.
Gallop holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from West Texas A&M University and proudly calls Amarillo home.
